Victory Computer Services, LLC is a computer\u00a0systems and network infrastructure consulting company that provides network and computer\u00a0hardware \/ software sales, support, and repair services to the small business\u00a0community or individuals.\u00a0 We\u00a0can provide our\u00a0services after normal business hours at no additional cost.\u00a0 The\u00a0typical small business cannot afford a full-time network administrator or\u00a0hardware \/ software service technician.\u00a0 Our goal is to provide these\u00a0services to the small business or individual for a reasonable cost.\u00a0 We can help the\u00a0small business develop and implement a technology plan geared to embrace\u00a0future growth.

We can install and maintain your technology solution – from servicing hardware \/ software\u00a0problems to providing remote desktop support and network administration services.\u00a0 We can maintain your desktop \/ laptop computers, servers, printers, WiFi Access Points, network switches, routers, edge appliances, and other peripheral devices.

Victory Computer Services, LLC was formed in 2006 by Emile Victory, who has\u00a0over 45 years experience in the computer and IT industry.\u00a0 Emile has worked\u00a0with personal computers since before the original IBM PC.\u00a0\u00a0Emile holds the certifications below.<\/p>\n\n\n

The\u00a0Microsoft Partner Network<\/strong>\u00a0is Microsoft’s AI Cloud partner program.\u00a0 It was formerly known as the\u00a0Microsoft Partner Program\u00a0<\/em>or MSPP.\u00a0 It is designed to make resources available to a wide variety of technology companies so they can build a business around Microsoft technologies.\u00a0 Emile (Victory Computer Services) has been a Microsoft Registered Partner since 2006.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft has certification paths for many technical job roles.\u00a0 Each of these certifications consists of passing a series of exams to earn certification.\u00a0\u00a0After you pass your first qualifying Microsoft certification exam, you are deemed a\u00a0Microsoft Certified Professional\u00a0<\/strong>(MCP). MCP status provides access to various technology benefits from Microsoft such as a\u00a0Microsoft Action Pack\u00a0<\/em>subscription.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

CompTIA A+ Certification<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>represents competency as a computer technician and is a vendor neutral certification that covers various technologies and operating systems.\u00a0\u00a0A+ Certification earned accreditation from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) in 2008.\u00a0 By 2014, over one million people worldwide had earned A+ certification.\u00a0 Certification prior to 1\/1\/2011, is considered good-for-life (GFL) and does not expire.\u00a0 Emile has GFL status.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

CompTIA Network+ Certification<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>\u200bvalidates the knowledge and skills needed to troubleshoot, configure and manage both wired and wireless networks found in companies around the world.\u00a0 CompTIA Network+ certifies a professional-level understanding of emerging technologies including cloud and virtualization technologies.\u00a0 Emile has good-for-life (GFL) status.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Microsoft Small Business Specialist\u00a0<\/strong>(MSBS)\u00a0certification required passing the 70-282 exam.\u00a0 The certification was centered around Microsoft’s Windows Small Business Server<\/em>.\u00a0 MSBS certification indicated a Microsoft partner who used Microsoft technology in innovative ways to deploy integrated solutions that served customers in small business.\u00a0 Emile was one of only a handful\u00a0of individuals with this certification in Louisiana.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

As a hobby, Emile has built a\u00a0Home Lab Server<\/strong>\u00a0using the popular Linux-based\u00a0Proxmox\u00a0Virtualization Platform<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 With Proxmox, he can quickly deploy virtual machines, Linux containers, and\u00a0Docker\u00a0<\/em>containers.\u00a0 He has installed\u00a0Portainer to manage docker containers, Dashy\u00a0<\/em>(a launchpad home page app),\u00a0Uptime Kuma<\/em>\u00a0to monitor various network devices, and Speedtest Tracker\u00a0<\/em>to monitor the Internet connection.\u00a0 He has used this virtualization environment to host apps that integrate with his home automation systems and provide virtual operating systems.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Emile has incorporated ten Raspberry Pi single board computers into his home automation systems.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 Some of the projects include touch screen automation controllers, 1-wire temperature and humidity sensors, a door controller. He has also used raspberry pi’s for dedicated server role functions such as an internal WordPress web site, an MQTT host, Unifi Controller, and a whole house generator home automation interface. Emile’s hobbies include electronics design and repair, 3D printing, woodworking, and (his favorite)\u00a0Home Automation<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 He has been automating aspects of his home for over 40 years.\u00a0 He started using X10 products in the early days\u00a0(40 years ago)\u00a0\u200bof home automation.\u00a0 He utilized HomeSeer software for several years as the brain of the automation system.\u00a0 Eventually he phased out X10 devices in favor of Smarthome’s Insteon\u00a0<\/em>devices and Universal Devices’ ISY controller<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0Today, he is moving from Insteon to Z-wave based devices and possibly to the open source Home Assistant platform.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Emile has also enjoyed fine woodworking <\/mark>as a hobby since his teenage years.<\/em><\/strong> This included performing simple carpentry tasks to creating jewelry boxes with fingered joints.
